The Parochial Church Council (PCC)

The PCC is an elected committee responsible with the vicar, for the running of the church. It is chaired by the vicar. The churchwardens, clergy and members of the Deanery Synod are ex officio members. Others are elected at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting and must be on the Church Electoral Roll.

The Council meets every two months and discusses a wide range of topics – mission, evangelism, worship, finance, buildings, events etc. At each meeting there are verbal reports from the Treasurer, Churchwardens and the Friends of St. Peters and St. Pauls (go to the “Friends of the Church” tab on the right hand side of this page for more details about what they do.)

Whilst members of the PCC are elected for one year, it is our normal practice for members to stand down after serving for three years.
